“In last Hanukah I went to my parents house. I told them that I would like to light up Hanukah candles. I realized that my father is interested in doing that as well. He asked me who will light up the candles, and I told him that he can. He said that he doesn’t know how, but I encouraged him. He searched for the blessings online, and even put a Kippah on. I didn’t know he even owned a kippah. It was clear it meant a lot to him. When I went home, he asked me to leave the Hanukkiah for the rest of the week. This is a photo I took of him lights up the Hanukkah candles for his first time”, Ina Romano
